Indian cuisine doesn’t get as much press as others. Which is a shame. Because The Ganges is a nice spicy treat to try. Worth the price they charge, the food is fresh, fun and lavish. Whether it’s to be joined by classic rice or morish naan bread is up to you. There’s quite a few chances to experiment with such foods.
The food is an adventure and it’s to be savoured. You can also bring the family and you can let the kids try out new cuisines they probably wouldn’t normally get to try. And of course, when it comes to curry, you can choose from exceptionally hot to mild. Make sure you choose wisely. For yourself and the kids.
And because the menu is so vast and varied, it’s the perfect excuse to return every so often to try more. Indian food hasn’t had such a good press as this outside of its country of origin.
With it being a small restaurant, you may like to book a table. But it’s cosy, private and warm for that quiet night you want to spend with family and friends. Also licensed for alcoholic drinks. Beer goes well with curry on a Friday night.
Ganges Indian Tandoori can also provide takeaway and collection orders. Perfect for those quiet nights in after a stressful day. With a Bollywood film. As you do.
